Great place to stay for walking / running. We were doing Snowdon Ultra and there were other runners there too. It’s a hostel and we shared a family room. Breakfast was available if booked and there was a small bar with local beers. The dining area was used by most people to eat their meals if not eathing out and enabled people to chat which was nice. There is a shared cooking area with 2 rings,, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. The showers were communal but clean and the water was hot. Lovely after 17 hours on the mountains. The landlord was really helpful and passionate about providing affordable and friendly accommodation. The location is great too.
It was really good value, friendly and welcoming. If you want 4 star hotels then this is not for you. If you want camaraderie and a friendly atmosphere then it is.
