Stayed here many times and enjoy it every time. Great value, clean, warm, practical, lovely people looking after you and not far from the village centre. Perfect for small groups wanting to stay in dorms…..breakfast fuels you for the day on the mountains…what’s not to love? Cool little bar and fab mountain photo’s everywhere…Oh if you spend your lives in 5 star hotel’s with turn down service and caviar starter’s probably not for you!..however if you love the great outdoors and want to be with like mined lovely people then the Vagabond is a great choice!Date of stay: January 2019
Just what we were after! Neil’s a great host, sorted us out a treat! Had a great sleep in a comfortable, spacious room with a great view. Leon, smashed out the perfect breakfasts for me and my mates before we set off for some downhill MTB at Antur Stiniog. The Vagabond is in a great location, it’s clean and tidy, beds are comfortable, has everything you need, including parking and it’s a great price. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. 10 out of 10!
I don’t have anything negative to put here, I did think about it but I’m pretty happy…
A large group of us stayed for 2nights in Room 4 & 5 on the top floor of the bunkhouse (8 Bed Dorms). Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable; Showers were clean, powerful and hot; breakfast was generous and filling.
We were a stag party so were probably noisier that most guests, however ground rules were set on arrival and Neil was welcoming, helpful and engaged.
Everyone that we came across staying in the bunkhouse were friendly and the atmosphere was great. It made for a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend.
Thank you to all the staff at the Vagabond, especially Neil for being incredibly accommodating when we had to return twice after forgetting wallets and suitcases!Show less
